About
Hi! I’m Kitty Drakeford. I’m a graphic designer based in Liverpool, or more broadly, the North West of England.
My practice centres on BIG & BOLD typography, photography, and publication design, using these tools to open up conversations around my concepts. I’m particularly interested in themes of feminism, personal identity, community, physical media and politics, often drawing on whatever feels urgent within the current climate. My process mainly includes bookbinding and printmaking, using a mixture of digital and analogue techniques. I enjoy the tactile qualities of making and how physical formats can shape how my work is engaged with. My work has been published in the Derby Book Festival 2022, and I have also received a silver award from Creative Conscience 2025. Through my practice, I aim to create visually striking, thought-provoking work that urges people to chat.
Get in touch! I’d love to hear from you.
